Depth of Imagination

As a part of the lighting course I was given a scene to assemble and light from given assets. My idea was to show the power of creator's imagination where the master carves the figures so real they become alive in his imagination At least this is what's happening in my head when I create art and I'm sure the majority of the artists would relate!
I've gathered some references to see how the light behaves under water and to get some inspiration but I didn't have any specific reference to copy from, I just wanted to see where my intuition and creative process will take me.
I've created caustic light function and textures for it to add a bit of visual texture and enhance the under water feeling. I didn't want to create a full underwater effect but rather an illusion of underwater lighting in the regular workshop at night when most of the magical things happen
Also, special thanks to Karen Lorena Parker for amazing tips and feedback!
