Reach - Lighting

Some of the many locations from Reach that I worked on at nDreams Elevation studio. Being the only lighting artist on the team for the past few years till a few months ago was a massive challenge. All of the lighting in the game is done by me except for the PC enhancements on several levels that were done by Elliott McSherry who came to my rescue right before the release.
All lighting is baked (PC and PSVR2 have a mix of Static and Stationary lighting with a few selected lights casting dynamic shadow + Volumetric Fog).
Some areas I'm really happy with while a few others could do with more work if I had more time, but overall I'm incredibly proud of what we achieved on Reach with the team! I'd like to thank the whole team for the awesome time working on Reach :) Especially I wanted to thank the Enviro Art team, you guys are incredible, thank you for your constant support and giving me awesome stuff to work with! And a special shoutout to QA who helped testing and finding so many bake issues Unreal was happily throwing at us :D
